Degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (B grade). LLM in Legal Practice at the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid. Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA) in Civil Law Studies; Complutense University of Madrid (cum laude). Marta is currently preparing a Doctoral Thesis on Intellectual Property at the Faculty of Law of the Complutense University of Madrid. She has also completed various postgraduate courses.
Experience
Marta began her professional career with the firm Abad & Bocardo, Abogados Asociados. She subsequently worked at Ibérica Abogados, S.L.P. and at Seprotec, S.L. before joining GAVELS Abogados in 2016.

Real Estate and Planning Law
Marta has experience of all manner of real estate activities, providing expert advice across all areas: construction and promotion; external financing; investment; acquisition and sale of properties and real estate assets (including, among others, transactions with institutional and/or private investors, real estate funds and private clients, due diligence and financing procedures); management and operation of real estate assets and execution procedures. Preparation and drafting of copyright and intellectual property agreements, registration of copyright in the Intellectual Property Registry, Patent and Trademark Registration; advice on copyright and defense of moral and exploitation rights for infringement, both extrajudicial and judicial.
Health Law
Marta advises private companies and clinics in the cosmetic surgery and medical-cosmetic treatment sector. Specifically, Marta provides expert advice on contracts (review, preparation and negotiation of contracts with patients and suppliers); preparation and review of clinical-health documentation; medical information for patients; advertising; consumer and user protection legislation and data protection. She also specializes in legal advice on the processing of all manner of administrative files with Regional Governments, Local Authorities and other public bodies, guiding clinics and private health centers through the opening process (requirements, processing files with authorities, health register, licenses, etc.) She also provides defense representation in any judicial cases (civil liability, etc.).
