Following a complaint by RED ELÉCTRICA DE ESPAÑA, S.A. (in its capacity as system operator) against COMERCIALIZADORA ELÉCTRICA DEL SURESTE, S.L., disciplinary proceedings were initiated in October 2022, declaring it proven that COMERCIALIZADORA ELÉCTRICA DEL SURESTE, S.L. failed to provide the guarantees required by the system operator in January 2022, maintaining this situation of insufficient guarantees until September 2022, thus failing to comply with the provisions of article 66.2 of Law 24/2013, of 26 December, on the Electricity Sector (minor infringement). For these facts, a fine of 13,000 euros was imposed, after the application of two reductions of 20% (for acknowledgement of liability and voluntary payment prior to the resolution of the procedure).
